Media Notification: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dermot Ahern TD to visit Paris on 30 October 2006

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Dermot Ahern, T.D., will meet the French Foreign Minister, Mr. Philippe Douste-Blazy, in Paris on Monday, 30 October, 2006, at 1.30pm.   Their meeting is to discuss a range of issues of mutual concern to Ireland the France, and the agenda covers international, EU and bilateral issues.

After the meeting, Minister Ahern will perform the official re-opening of the newly refurbished Irish Embassy in the city at 7pm.
