STATE VISIT TO IRELAND BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA, H.E. GEORGI PARVANOV, 11 - 13 DECEMBER 2005

The President of the Republic of Bulgaria and Mrs. Zorka Parvanova will pay a state visit to Ireland from 11 to 13 December 2005. During the visit the President will call on President McAleese and meet with An Taoiseach. The following photo opportunities will arise:

Mon 12 December 11.30  Arrival and tree planting at Áras an Uachtaráin
     (photographers should be in place from 11.00)
   
14.25  Wreath laying ceremony at the Gardens of Remembrance
     (photographers should be in place from 14.00)  
14.45  Arrival at Leinster House to meet with Ceann Comhairle and Cathaoirleach
     (photographers should be in place from 14.30)

15.30  Visit to National Museum
     (photographers should be in place from 15.00)

16.15  Arrival at Government Buildings for meeting with An Taoiseach
  (photographers should be in place from 15.45)
   
19.30  Arrival at Dublin Castle for State Dinner – Greeted by President
  (photographers should be in place from 19.00)

Tue 13 December 11.50  Arrival at the Manison House – Civic Reception hosted by the Lord Mayor
     (photographers should be in place from 11.20)

12.30  Arrival at Iveagh House for Government Luncheon – Greeted by An Taoiseach
  (photographers should be in place from 12.00)

14.50  Arrival at Newgrange (photographers should be in place from 14.30)
   
18.30  President Parvanov to open photo exhibition at Farmleigh of Bulgarian artifacts (photographers should be in place from 18.00)
