Minister Cowen condemns terrorist attack in Jakarta

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Brian Cowen T.D., has condemned this morning’s attack at the Australian Embassy in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
“Details are still emerging but all indications at this stage are that the explosion was the result of a terrorist attack.
I condemn without reservation those responsible.
I want to offer my condolences to the families of those killed in the explosion and all affected by this appalling act”
