Minister Cowen regrets latest attack in Iraq

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Brian Cowen T.D., has expressed his shock and sadness at the latest attack on security forces in Iraq in which at least twenty-two people, including Italian personnel, were killed in Nasiriyah.
The Minister offered his condolences to the families of those killed in the attack and his hope for a full and speedy recovery to the injured. He also expressed his condolences to Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.
