Travel Advice Update - Bolivia

The security situation in Bolivia has deteriorated in recent days as a result of social unrest. Roads have been blockaded without warning and travel within the country is subject to disruption. El Alto-La Paz International Airport has been closed and La Paz itself has seen numerous demonstrations over the past week, some of which have ended in clashes between protestors and security forces.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is therefore advising against all non-essential travel to Bolivia until the situation returns to normal.
