Joint Statement by Ministers Tom Kitt and Des Browne
13/12/2002
The two Governments have this afternoon completed a round of separate meetings with all of the parties involved in the round table talks.
Following trilateral meetings today, Ministers Des Browne and Tom Kitt welcomed the sense of urgency and engagement displayed by all of the parties in the discussions. They were encouraged by the extent of the shared analysis which exists in a number of areas and by the evident determination to build on that common ground.
Ministers Tom Kitt and Des Browne will report on the outcome of the consultations to the reconvened round table discussions on December 19, co-chaired by the Secretary of State and the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
