In view of the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the situation in the region is very uncertain and unpredictable at present.
Irish people resident in Pakistan are advised to reassess their position and to consider leaving unless there are compelling reasons for them to stay.
Irish citizens who travel to or remain in Pakistan are advised to communicate their contact details to the Irish Honorary Consulate in Karachi.
