Statement by the Minister for Foreign Affairs

I am deeply shocked and dismayed by today's horrific outrages in the United States. These senseless and barbaric acts are an affront to all humanity and strike not only at the American people, but at the entire democratic world. We must leave no stone unturned until those who have perpetrated these evil deeds are brought to justice.
The Irish people and Government stand shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with all those who have suffered at this appalling time, and extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their families.
