National Forum on Development Aid

Hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Forum is a platform for discussions with NGO's and other interested groups on Irish Development Aid policies and broader Development Co-operation issues. This year's theme will be "Focus on Africa". The Minister of State has expressed the hope that "the forum can achieve a sharp focus on the relevant African issues and foster real-time responses to them within the Irish and international donor communities at a time of significant expansion in the Government's Development Aid programme."
A keynote speech will also be delivered by Mr. Mark Malloch Brown, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
