Ireland Aid/NCDE Poster Competition
Liz O'Donnell T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs, will present prizes for the Ireland Aid/National Committee for Development in Education (NCDE) primary school poster competition to pupils and schools at a special prize giving event on Friday 2nd June at 11.30 am in Iveagh House, Department of Foreign Affairs, 80 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2.
As part of a programme to increase public ownership and awareness in Irish Overseas Development Assistance children were invited to design a poster on the theme ‘People and other lands', exploring links between Ireland and developing countries. Winning schools and pupils will also nominate schools in developing countries to receive prizes. Teachers and pupils from several counties will attend the ceremony.
