Message of Condolence from Minister for Foreign Affairs, David Andrews, TD, to Turkish Minister for Foreign Affairs.

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Ireland, I wish to convey to you our strong condolences on the sufferings which you and the people of Turkey are experiencing due to the earthquake of such severe proportions.

The deep sympathy of the people of Ireland is with the families of those who have been killed and have lost relatives as a result of this tragedy.

The Irish Government will respond positively to any request for aid.
