Hillary Rodham Clinton will visit NUI Galway on Wednesday 12 May 1999.
The detailed programme is as follows:

10h30 First Lady returns indoors for robing

- First Lady delivers lecture : "Our Obligations to Each Other:

All those wishing to cover the events should have already returned accreditation forms to the Press Office, Department of Foreign Affairs.
Accreditation badges will be distributed on Tuesday 11 May in the Press Centre (Student Theatre), NUI Galway between 14h00 to17h00. Access to the Press Centre is through the campus entrance opposite Ward's Newsagents on University Road.
Those covering the events should arrive in NUI Galway between 07h30 and 09h00 on Wednesday morning. Car parking will be available in the University Carpark on Distillery Road and access to the University will be by foot. The Press Centre will be at the disposal of the media during the morning and refreshments will be available.
For those who have pre-aranged late accreditation, a Temporary Accreditation Centre will be set up in Distillery Road from 07h30 to 08h30. Access is via the first turn left off the Quincenntenial Bridge on Newcastle Road.
Satellite trucks must be in the car park behind the Conferring Hall by 19h00 on Tuesday 12 May. Access is via the Distillery Road entrance and the route will be signposted.
The three photo opportunities on 12 May will be pooled. Pool passes may be collected in the Press Centre from 07h30 to 09h00 on Wednesday 12th May. NUI Galway Press Office will have responsibility for allocating the passes - please contact Maire Mhic Uidhir at 091-750418 or 087-2986592.
There will also be a Photo Opportunity at the arrival of the First Lady in Shannon Airport at 20h20 on Tuesday, 11 May. Those wishing to cover the arrival at Shannon must inform this office by 14h00 on Monday 10 May, and indicate whether they wish to collect their Press Accreditation Badge there or in NUI Galway.
