Andrews expresses grave concern at recent attacks in Northern Ireland
28/01/1999
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. David Andrews, TD, has expressed his grave concern at the spate of recent attacks on homes in various parts of Northern Ireland.
The Minister said:
"The pipe bomb attack on a house in Beechvalley in Dungannon early this morning is the latest in a series of vicious attacks on vulnerable family homes. It is no thanks to those who carried out this attack that those in the house, including a woman and four young children, escaped injury.
The people responsible for these attacks should immediately desist. Every effort must be made to bring them to justice."
