Minister for Foreign Affairs on official visit to Greece
The Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr David Andrews T. D. is visiting Athens from the 19-21
of October. The visit is in response to an invitation from the Greek Foreign Minister, Mr Theodoros Pangalos.
In addition to talks with Foreign Minister Pangalos the Minister will call on Prime Minister Simitis and President Stephanopoulos.
In his meeting with Foreign Minister Pangalos the Minister will discuss current EU developments including Agenda 2000, EMU, and enlargement. In their discussion of regional issues the Ministers are expected to review recent developments in Kosovo.
Minister Andrews will use the occasion to brief his Greek counterpart on the latest developments in the Peace Process.
