The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr D. Andrews, TD, issued the following statement on the killings of tourists and others which took place at Luxor, Egypt today.

I wish to condemn without reservation the appalling mass killing which took place in a terrorist attack at Luxor, Egypt today. Such acts must be seen as the indiscriminate atrocities that they are.

I also wish to express my sincerest condolences to the families of the victims and my hopes for an early recovery of the injured.Top
