Professor John Kelly has been appointed Executive Director of the Ireland - United States Commission for Educational Exchange, more generally known as the Fulbright Commission.
The Commission has responsibility for the financing and allocation of research and study scholarships, and for the promotion of other educational activities between Ireland and the United States.
Prof. Kelly is Professor of Chemical Engineering in University college Dublin, and is a former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, and Registrar of the College. He is a member of the Governing Body in UCD and of the Senate of the National University of Ireland
