Minister of State Conor Lenihan to represent Ireland at Mexican Presidential Inauguration
Conor Lenihan TD, Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs, will tomorrow (Friday) represent the State at the inauguration of the new President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon Hinojosa.
Following the inauguration ceremony in the Mexican Congress, Minister Lenihan will attend a dinner hosted by the President elect. As part of his two day visit, the Minister will also attend a dinner hosted by the Mexican Foreign Minister, Luis Ernesto Derbez.
President elect, Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, was elected for the PAN party (Partido Accion Nacional) in July elections.
