Minister Ahern Offers Assistance to Thai Air Victims

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Dermot Ahern TD, has offered his deepest condolences to the family of twenty three year old Aaron Toland from Derry who was today confirmed as having died in yesterday’s plane crash in Phuket, Thailand. The Minister has offered to provide travel assistance to the families of the Irish citizens affected by the tragedy. "I hope that the three other Irish citizens involved in the crash will make a speedy recovery."

 

The Minister added: "Our officials in Phuket, who were at the scene in the immediate aftermath of the accident, are continuing to provide ever possible assistance to the Irish victims of the crash and their families”.
