Minister Martin Condemns Attack on PSNI Officer
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Micheál Martin T.D., condemned
last night’s bomb attack on a PSNI officer near Castlederg, County
Tyrone.
Minister Martin said “I condemn this attack on a policeman on his way to work in the service of his community.
The perpetrators of this cowardly attack have no support. This attack showed their contempt for the wishes of the wider community to live in peace, and to work towards a better future.
I would like to extend my best wishes for a full recovery to the officer concerned. My thoughts are with him and his family.
Anyone with information on this crime should cooperate fully with the police.”
