Statement of Strategy 2011-2014

The DFAT Strategy Statement sets out the foreign policy objectives, as defined by the Government, to be pursued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in the next three years.  It will be subject to ongoing monitoring in the context of the commitments in the Programme for Government and other reform action plans. 

The Statement has been prepared within the policy framework of the Programme for Government in accordance with Government priorities, strategies and programmes, with a focus on stability, with a priority for the immediate period ahead on recovery, job creation and progressing the agenda of reform.

Statement of Strategy 2008-2010

The Statement of Strategy of the Department of Foreign Affairs  sets out the foreign policy objectives, as defined by the Governement, to be pursued in the period 2008-2010.

Strategy Statement 2005-2007

The DFA Strategy Statement  sets out the foreign policy objectives, as defined by the Government, to be pursued by the Department of Foreign Affairs in the period 2005-2007.

Annual Report 2007

The Annual Report    describes the progress made by the Department during the year towards achieving the policy goals and objectives set down in the Department’s Strategy Statement 2005 – 2007.
