The Minister today expressed his deep concern at the unilateral appointment by Robert Mugabe of Zanu PF members to key Ministries in Zimbabwe.
Speaking today the Minister said
"I am extremely disappointed at this unilateral decision to allocate the key Ministeries of Finance, Home Affairs and Defence to Zanu PF members. This calls into question the entire basis of the 15 September agreement between Robert Mugabe and Morgan Tsvangirai and the future of the power sharing talks.
These developments will be high on the agenda when I meet my EU colleagues in the General Affairs Council for our scheduled meeting on Monday next"
